Appalachia Service Project

April 26-29
Deadline for registration: April 8
Cost: $40

We are celebrating a new milestone this year as NRUMC has been volunteering and working with the ASP community for over 10 years now! What wonderful things have been accomplished, memories shared, and friendships created! For current information about the organization and families that are being blessed please explore www.asphome.org.

Our spring 2018 trip will be to Greensbriar County, WV! We would love for you to join us! We will be staying at the Greenbriar Christian Retreat.

Please check your calendars and let me know if you would like to be a part of our team! Registration will be open through April 8! Youth are welcome to come! Youth must be 14 to attend with a parent and youth 16 and older are welcome to attend with the supervision of the group as a whole. The cost for this trip is $40 per individual.

For those individuals who know they are a definite participant for this trip you can go ahead and register your information to our group by clicking the button below and clicking on the “Join an existing group” button. Our group name is: North Raleigh United Methodist Church – A and our code is  #7492. Write your registration check for $40 to North Raleigh UMC and put Spring ASP 2018 Greenbriar Trip in the memo line. You can drop that check in the offering plate on Sunday, or drop it by the church office anytime beginning this coming week.

ASP is a Christian ministry open to all people, whose vision is to eradicate substandard housing in Central Appalachia and equip and inspire lives of Christian service.  This is a wonderful opportunity to serve others in the name of Christ and to get to know your fellow church members better.  If you are interested in attending, or would like further information, please contact Allison Nunnery at alliekat02@aol.com or 919-614-0331.  You can also obtain information about ASP at http://asphome.org/.
