Dinner for Eight

“Dinner for Eight” provides the opportunity to meet others who worship at NRUMC. This opportunity is for any adult, whether you're a member, a non-member, single, married, young, senior citizen, or anything in between.

“Dinner for Eight” plans:

• groups will meet once a month for three months
• each group will be made up of eight people; the eight could include both singles and couples
• three members of the group will serve monthly as the host or hostess
• the host or hostess will set the date of the dinner, and decide whether they will prepare the meal, organize a pot luck, or arrange a dinner at a local, moderately-priced restaurant, “dutch treat”.

Groups will be organized to begin enjoying dinner together in June; each group will plan to meet together again in July and August. Because the groups will not be meeting on the church campus, child care is not available.
