MUSIC GROUP DESCRIPTIONS
All music groups share in worship several times a year.

The Cherub Choir is for children age four through kindergarten. Basic musical skills are developed using rhythm, movement, and of course, singing!

The Jubilation Choir picks up where the Cherub Choir leaves off. First and second graders learn more about music theory, rhythm, and singing.

Belleplates is our introduction to handbells for children in first and second grade. The group learns basic ringing techniques with special “kid-friendly” instruments called Belleplates, as well as music skills and rhythms.

The Alleluia Choir allows third through fifth graders to get into more complex music, rhythms, and some harmony. In addition to singing in worship, the choir presents musicals twice a year.

KidChimes picks up where Belleplates leaves off, allowing children in third through fifth grade to continue to develop their ringing skills with tubular choirchimes. The group learns to read music and count more complex rhythms.

IMPACT Singers is an ensemble for youth. A team approach is utilized to focus on the enjoyment of singing while refining choral technique.

8501 B.C. 8501 is the church address, and B.C., in this case, stands for “Bell Choir!” This more advanced youth bell ensemble (grades 6-12) works with the same bronze handbells the adult groups use.

Bells of Joy is a bell ensemble for youth who may be newer to ringing handbells and chimes; consult with the director if you are unsure as to where you should ring.

FELLOWSHIP & CREATIVE ARTS GROUPS

Bible Buddies is for children age four through kindergarten. They meet while the older kids are in bells and chimes and enjoy a time of Bible study and related worksheets, games, and crafts.

DIVE is a weekly (September to April) Bible study on Wednesday nights for children in grades K-5. The children meet for ridiculously fun games, dinner, a Bible story, and small group time. This group is $60 /year.

S.O.U.L. Puppets (grades 3-5) is a great group to learn basic puppetry skills in preparation for youth puppets (Handful of Praise).

Handful of Praise (grades 6-12) works on advanced puppetry, dowel work, and sign language presentations for worship and special events.

Illuminate (grades 7-12) is a hand-mime group focused on “black light” presentations for worship and special events.

SUNDAY MORNINGS

Kidz Korner (ages 2-5) is a Sunday School program at 9:45 designed to help our kids discover that God made me, God loves me, and Jesus wants to be my friend forever.

252 North (K – grade 5) is a large group/small group Sunday School experience where children will engage in interactive worship, prayer, innovative telling of Bible stories, and small group discussion and activities.

Shine! (ages 3 – 5) is a worship service for kids. We start every Sunday in the Sanctuary at 11:15, then move to Room S2 for an exciting and interactive worship experience!
