Urban Ministries

We have been invited to give our time to Urban Ministries, a Wkae County relief center that provides medical care, emergency funds, food, shelter, and more. Volunteers are needed weekly (and can serve monthly or more) on Wendesday afternoons and Tuesday and Friday mornings for these tasks:

• preparing food for distribution
• interviewing clients
• assisting in the pharmacy
• setting appointments
• assisting with receptionist duties

Giving the gift of reading and writing

Bailewick Elementary School is in need of volunteers to tutor Kindergarten students with writing. In the future, there may be a need for tutors in math and reading as well.
