Summer mission trips are very important to the Youth
at North Raleigh and we have found two wonderful opportunities
to participate in. Senior High Youth take a trip to repair
homes or build new construction for some of the most impoverished
families in our country.
Middle School and High School aged youth are also welcome
to join us at PASSPORT, youth camping with a mission.
This is an exciting camp experience that involves mission
projects each day, as well as a super-charged, spiritually
awesome camp experience.
We participate in monthly service projects such as the 30
Hour Famine, CROP Walk, Food Day at the
Fair, collecting for the Food Bank, and supporting a child
in Afghanistan.
As committed Christian Youth we are committed to having fun
as Christian Youth. Some of the activities we have enjoyed
are; trips to the water park, pool parties, concerts, canoeing,
rope courses, inflatable obstacle courses, comedy clubs, lock-ins,
laser-tag, and more. We have some kind of social event at
least once a month, in addition to our regularly scheduled
programs.
