Traditional worship at North Raleigh UMC is a blend of the
traditional elements of worship and the warmth and welcoming
atmosphere that characterizes the people of our congregation.
Our traditional services are held each Sunday morning at 8:30
and 11:00 in our sanctuary. Worship is led by our clergy and
our Chancel Choir each Sunday morning, with regular contributions
from our specialized music ensembles. Learn more about our
music ministry.
Each Sunday, our children between the ages of four and seven
are invited to Children's Church. Children depart the Sanctuary
with our Children's Church leader for a time of praise and
worship in their own space after the Children's Moments. Parents
then pick up their children from the Children's Church space
following worship. A nursery is provided for our infants and
toddlers up to the age of three. Our nurseries are staffed
by experienced and nurturing care providers each week.
Visitors to North Raleigh UMC are invited to park in our
visitor parking, located on the east side of our facility,
and accessed through our east entrance.
In addition to our morning worship, we also have a special
Sunday evening service once a month. "First Sunday" is a relaxed
time of supper and worship, and is held throughout the year.
Please check the church calendar or call the church office
for our First Sunday schedule.
You are also invited to our special seasonal worship services,
held during Advent and Lent. Our home page will have information
about those services as we approach those seasons.
